July 31, 2015 – Lagos State Government has approved payment of annual bursary awards for students in higher institution of learning across the country.
In a statement, Director, Lagos State Scholarship Board, Mrs. Omauton Yetunde Jegede said funds have been released for the fifth and sixth payments of bursary to 2010/11 bursary beneficiaries in universities across the country.
He said that second payment for 2013/14 beneficiaries studying in polytechnics and colleges of education is also ready.
He enjoined all concerned beneficiaries to take along to the Board’s Office, a copy of the bursary award letter, ATM verve cards and school identity card. He however assured other categories of beneficiaries that are not included in the current exercise that all outstanding bursaries would be paid in due course.
