July 6, 2015 – Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has relieved General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Oke- Osoyintolu of his appointment.
In a statement, Head of Public Relations,LASEMA,Mr. Adebayo Kehinde said the governor has appointed Hon. Michael Kolawole Akindele as the new General Manager of the agency.
Until his appointment, Akindele was a former Vice Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area. He later became Special Assistant to former governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola on Health between 2004-2007.
He also served as Senior Special assistant on Lagos State Emergency Management agency (LASEMA) between 2007-2011.
He most recently served as Senior Special Assistant on Housing to Fashola between 2011-2015. Akindele has a robust experience in health and public administration
