November 25, 2014 – It is another bloody day in Maiduguri as two female suicide bombers suspected to be members of the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram targeted a crowded market in Maiduguri, killing at least 10 people and inuring many.
According to eye witnesses, one of the bombers detonated her explosive among those trading on the roadside,while the second bomber detonated as people rushed to the scene to assist the wounded.
Eye witnesses say dead bodies lither the vicinity which has been condoned off by members of the security forces.
Adamu, an eye witnesses who spoke to Reuters said he counted more than 30 people on the ground, but said he did not know if they were dead or wounded.
“I counted ten dead bodies on the ground before the police arrived,” Muhammadu Garba, a trader, told Reuters, who reported a source as saying that five dead bodies have been received at the Maiduguri General Hospital.
