October 20, 2014 – Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Abdul Jelili Adesiyan, has commended Chinese Information and Communication Technology giant, Huawei Technologies Company Nigeria Limited, on its new award as the Best Global Brand.
In a congratulatory message he personally signed in Abuja and addressed to the vice president of the company, Gao Xiang Hover, the minister said the award has testified that the company is a leading global Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions provider in Nigeria.
He added that Huawei has made it to be one of the top 100 in “Interbrand 2014 Best Global Brands” as released by Global Consultancy Interbrand, stressing that, “pursuant to this, you are the first Chinese company to make it to the top this year.”
“Your rapid growth and long term investments helped in earning a place among the world’s most valuable brands. This is the evidence of your relentless commitment to make it possible for people everywhere to enjoy your premium quality products. We, in the Ministry of Police Affairs will continue to partner with you and continue to have a good working relationship with you in all ramifications.”
Adesiyan, however, urged Xiang Hover, to intensify on the success recorded by the company so that people in every nook and cranny of the country would continue to enjoy their premium quality products.
